First of all we have to remember that the natural tendency of a human being (most of them) is to blame someone else for the problem
The starting point of staying in control mentally and emotionally is to refuse to blame anyone else. The magic word is ‘I’m responsible’. Even if you didn’t cause the problem, you are responsible for how you behave. Second point is, when you having problems or difficulties, everybody is watching you to see how you behave. So the rule is, be cool. Be calm.
So when something goes wrong, there are several things that you can do to stay in control. First, resolve to stay calm. Second, get the facts. Sometimes when the things goes wrong you don’t have the facts or not enough of the facts. Most of the cases the problem is not so big as you thought. And the way you do that is by asking questions, ‘What exactly happened here, who did what, when did that happen and how do we know that it happen?’ Another way to deal with problems is to write it down, ‘What exactly is the problem that I’m concern about?’. Most of the times if you use your brain and write down your problem on a piece of paper, In most cases it begins to solve it self. Once you wrote it down start asking yourself ‘what’s the possible solution to this problem? Is it really a problem at all?’
You can also communicate with others, ask people who might help you or with your team if you are in business sector. The act by communicate with other people keeps you calm and more thoughtful.
