If you are looking for ways to find more joy and happiness in your life, try starting with your current levels of productivity. We should all know that happiness and productivity are closely linked. Remember the last time when you accomplished something big? How did you feel after? I’m sure you felt relieved, happy and like you could take on the world. Being productive can give you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that you’ve achieved something, which can lead to more happiness. Here are some ways to increase your happiness by become more productive:
· Keep a clean space: Clutter can be distracting and distraction can decrease productivity. You wont be easily concentrate when you surrounded by a big mess around you. On the other hand, a clear workspace leads to a clear mind
· Exercise regularly: A very good productivity technique, is exercise. Take at least 40’ of your time and exercise (ideally first thing early morning). Exercise helps you clear your mind, boost your immune system, discipline yourself and overall improves your health. Exercise also released endorphins or so called ‘’feel – good’’ hormones into the body while getting your blood flowing to stimulate your brain to encourage creative thoughts.
· Have a purpose: Doing everything with purpose or for a specific purpose is one of the biggest keys to productivity and happiness. Having a purpose, you have a reason to wake up in the morning ready to face the day and your tasks. You have something to strive for, and that will make you feel more energized and able to tackle whatever the day holds.
· Set goals: Setting long term goals and productively working toward them is the final way to increase productivity and happiness. Whether the tasks you set are big or small, doesn’t matter, the key is finishing what you set out to do. By consistently completing tasks, you will create a positive momentum to keep you moving in the right direction towards your personal and professional success.
